Scope
This Refund Policy applies to fees paid directly to IT Corner ("IT Corner", "we", "us") for licenses, subscriptions or professional services relating to the EdgeTrader trading platform and its components (the "Software").
It does not apply to (i) any amount you deposit, lose or earn with a broker, exchange or liquidity provider, (ii) purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery or any other distribution channel, which are governed by the platform's own refund rules, or (iii) services purchased from a third-party reseller, which are governed by that reseller's policy.
Trading losses are never refundable
EdgeTrader is a software product. It does not execute orders on its own behalf and does not hold client funds. IT Corner does not refund, compensate or otherwise indemnify trading losses, slippage, requotes, missed trades, swap charges, spread costs, broker commissions, withdrawal fees, taxes or any other amount associated with your trading activity. All such matters are between you and your broker.
Eligibility for software refunds
You may be eligible for a refund of fees paid to IT Corner only where all of the following apply:
- the fee was charged by IT Corner directly (not by a Store or reseller);
- the request is made within fourteen (14) calendar days of the original payment;
- the Software has not been used in a way that, in our reasonable judgement, indicates productive commercial use beyond reasonable evaluation;
- the request is not related to a feature that was clearly described in the product documentation prior to purchase;
- the issue could not be resolved through reasonable technical support or a published workaround.
The 14-day window does not apply where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence grant a longer statutory cooling-off period; in that case the statutory period applies.
Non-refundable items
The following are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- fees for services already substantially performed, including custom development, onboarding, integration and white-label setup work;
- renewal fees for an ongoing subscription where the renewal date has passed and the new period has commenced;
- fees for any subscription period during which the Software was used for live trading or other production activity;
- fees for accounts terminated by IT Corner for breach of the Terms & Conditions;
- third-party charges such as broker fees, payment-processor fees, taxes, currency-conversion costs and bank charges.
Apple App Store, Google Play and AppGallery purchases
Subscriptions and one-off purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery are processed by the relevant Store. Refunds for those transactions are handled exclusively under the Store's own policy and must be requested through the Store. IT Corner is not able to refund or reverse charges made through a Store.
How to request a refund
To request a refund of a fee paid directly to IT Corner, send the following information via our contact page:
- the order number or invoice reference;
- the email address used at purchase;
- the date of payment and the amount;
- a short description of the reason for the request, including any troubleshooting steps already taken with our support team.
We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and to decide eligible requests within 14 business days. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Depending on your bank and country, it may take a further 5–15 business days for the credit to appear.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most billing issues can be resolved quickly through support. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us, or initiated after a refund has been issued, may result in suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of any remaining license rights, without prejudice to any further legal remedies available to IT Corner.
Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Where local law provides stronger refund rights than those set out above, those local rights prevail to the extent of the conflict.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
